Very Funny: this morning I saw a comment on my past blog “So, who is selling us all the silver?” of few days ago:
“Customer Excuse me, what is your special today?
Server The special today is silver for $21.99
Customer That sounds good! I’ll have that!”
and at 8 AM when I replied I wrote back:
“…while the server walked away, “Sorry, I almost forgot, also a double side of gold at 1270$ with that!”
Then just now at the end of the very same day I open my email and get:
Dear XXXX,
You are receiving this email because you set up an APMEX Market Alert on 10/19/2010 to inform you when Gold reaches your target price of 1270.00.
The current price is 1266.80$ and is current as of Jun 25 2013 8:06PM:
You can check it, I am not kidding. Same exact number out of nowhere, I commented at 8:05 Am, if I remember correctly, and now at 8:06PM Apmex sent me this email with that very same price >>>!?!? 1270$! I waited almost 3 years for that forgotten email/spot price to surface again, totally forgot or used Apmex for personal purchases (I am at my present job since 2011) ever since! This is not the first email like this, more like the 3rd. I posted already two of them as I got them, and sure, I was surprised myself to see these prices after 3 years. I must also recognize, 7 0 is a number that I like and make sense that I picked that one almost 3 years ago and forgot,but still, what a… “coincidence”
Silver is a 2 and 1/2 years low, and many floor levels under the feet of PM’s have been demolished from the paper cartel, and for many people the sentiment is very low and adverse to PM’s, even in this very same industry. But rest assured, when the wind reverse to original direction, expect hi-grade volatility and after a lot of that and after all the fear, the same people will be transformed to the opposite just as much by GREED…
And that would be some time in the future MY exit point, not now, but that’s another story altogether…
